The Granbohus provision is situated within Fredensborg municipal. Granbohus offers supportive services for holidays and short-term breaks for children/ young people and adults with physical, sensory and complex disabilities.
Granbohus provides the following services:
Accommodates the infant service and school children’s provision. The in reach support service, specialist projects department and the individually tailored support provision. All co-ordinators of these services are based at Fredensborg.
The infant support service is specifically aged ranged for children between the ages of 0 to 10 years. This provision facilitates two groups, which has 6 places for each group.
Molevitten offers support to children 0 to 6 years.
Hurlumhej offers support to children 6 to 10 years.
The school children’s service consists of:
Villekulla, Which can accommodate 7 children aged between 7 to 15 years.
The Apartment provides accommodation for up to 4 mobile children at weekends only.
In Reach Support is a service is for parents of children aged 0 to 18 years of age, where the client group is supported and cared for at home for 4 to 9 hours at a time.
In reach support workers are employed and paid by Granbohus.
Specialist projects provide a service to families where a child/young person 0 to 18 years of age, can receive a short-term break from a support family.
Supervision and support is provided by Granbohus.
Individually Tailored Support
This service is to support adults aged 18 to 65 years who are not capable of living alone due to their physical and complex disabilities.
Individual support workers are employed and paid by Granbohus to provide on going support for this client group.
Jægerspris.
Skovlyst provides a service for 5 children/ young people aged 7 to 25 years with Autistic Spectrum Disorders. The facility is arranged into specific clubs to enable the same client group a consistency of approach through ensuring the same groups of young people and worker are together at each visit.
Skovridergården is a service for young people aged 15 to 25 years.
There are two facilities, which accommodate 5 clients at a time in each provision.
Granbo-Tour offers weekend and holiday breaks for children and young people in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
Fristedet provides a short-break service every weekend and one day a week for children/ young people aged 7 to 18 years with mobility difficulties.
